KG Mobility has revealed the main specifications of its first all-electric pickup truck, the Musso EV, ahead of its pre-order phase.
The Musso EV, which maintains the rugged character of traditional pickups while incorporating advanced EV technology, will launch at a competitive price point, drawing significant consumer interest.
A Bold Design Reflecting Korean Pride

The name Musso stems from the Korean word for rhinoceros, symbolizing strength and determination.
This model continues the legacy of South Korea’s iconic recreational pickup trucks, following Musso Sports, Actyon Sports, Korando Sports, and Rexton Sports.
Designed with durability and practicality in mind, the exterior retains the robust style of a pickup truck. The interior boasts the longest couple distance in its class, maximizing rear-row space. Notably, it’s the first in its segment to offer sliding and reclining second-row seats, significantly enhancing passenger comfort.
Blending Practicality with Advanced Technology

The Musso EV has a 207-horsepower front-mounted electric motor and an 80.6 kWh LFP battery, delivering an impressive 401 km (249 miles) combined range.
Standard features include a heat pump, battery thermal management system, and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, enhancing practicality.
The comprehensive list of standard equipment includes 17-inch wheels, LED headlights, and taillights, a digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, a heated steering wheel, synthetic leather upholstery, a power driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, adaptive cruise control, and an Alpine sound system.
Expanded Customization Options

The Musso EV is offered in a single MX trim level, and various option packages allow buyers to customize the truck to their needs.
The Styling Package adds a wireless charger and utility roof rack, while the Convenience Package includes a power passenger seat and heated rear seats. The Black Edge Package offers premium leather seating and black exterior accents for a more upscale look.
Aggressive Pricing Strategy

The Musso EV qualifies for electric commercial vehicle incentives, and small business owners can benefit from VAT refunds and commercial vehicle tax rates, significantly lowering the overall cost.
With more substantial subsidies available for electric commercial vehicles than passenger cars, the final purchase price could start in the low 40 million won ($30,000) range when all incentives are applied.
This competitive pricing positions the Musso EV to impact the emerging electric pickup truck market significantly.
