In countries other than the UAE, Italy uses supercars as police cars. In Bologna, the Lamborghini Gallardo was used as a police car, but the Huracan replaced it as the generation changed. It is mainly used for highway patrols, traffic control, criminal pursuit, and medical support using its high speed. It is equipped with a refrigerator that can store organs and a defibrillator.
In addition, Qatar and Austria are using Porsche vehicles as police vehicles. Qatar’s government owns shares in Porsche, so it naturally purchased them. Austria, which is close to Germany, is said to have bought several Porsche vehicles while purchasing German vehicles. The Czech Republic also made headlines by converting a Ferrari 458 Italia confiscated from a criminal into a police vehicle.
