Genesis, the luxury automotive brand, has unveiled a captivating immersive exhibition called The Forest Within at the cultural hub, Genesis House, in the heart of Manhattan. This exciting collaboration with Hollywood actress and Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow opened its doors on May 9, promising visitors a unique sensory journey.

Drawing inspiration from South Korea’s rich natural beauty and cultural heritage, this experiential exhibition beautifully marries Genesis’ inherent Korean aesthetics with Paltrow’s renowned wellness philosophy. It’s a rare opportunity for city dwellers to immerse themselves in the essence of South Korea through a multi-sensory adventure.

Nestled in the Cellar Stage of Genesis House, the exhibition takes visitors on a virtual stroll through Sobaek Mountain’s breathtaking landscape, guided by Paltrow’s soothing narration. The space is a feast for the senses, featuring themes of tigers, rocks, forests, and flowers – quintessential elements of Korean nature. But it’s not just about what you see and hear; prepare to be enveloped by enchanting scents and textures that bring the experience to life.

The creative genius behind the exhibition’s stunning visuals is none other than world-renowned florist Jeff Leatham. He’s crafted a modern interpretation of Korean landscapes using Paltrow’s favorite bloom – the lush and romantic peony.

A Genesis spokesperson shared that this exhibition embodies their mission to showcase South Korea’s unique perspective on nature and emotion to a global audience. The collaboration with Paltrow aims to transport visitors to the heart of South Korea, in bustling New York City.

The Forest Within will enchant visitors until June 29, and to complete the immersive experience, the Genesis House restaurant is serving up a specially curated Korean menu. Be sure to try their visually striking tiger-striped dumplings and the inventive cocktails infused with ginseng and balloon flowers.

Since its grand opening in 2021, Genesis House has been a cultural beacon, consistently showcasing the best of Korean art and culture in NYC. Their previous exhibitions, including the floral extravaganza, Bloomtanica, last May and the mesmerizing light installation, STARSCAPE, in November, have already made waves in the New York art scene.
