Maserati has unveiled a truly exceptional model, the I.C.E., at the International Concours of Elegance in St. Moritz, Switzerland. This bespoke vehicle, crafted through Maserati’s exclusive Fuoriserie customization program, captures the essence of winter’s cold beauty. Along with this one-of-a-kind creation, Maserati also introduced its new entry-level GranCabrio, providing a glimpse into the evolving future of the brand’s product lineup.

The I.C.E.: A Frozen Masterpiece

The I.C.E. features a striking “Liquid Tri-coat” exterior finish that evokes the look of a frozen lake. Gloss, white accents, forged wheels, and blue brake calipers complement the unique paintwork. The cold-weather theme continues with a blue marine soft top and an ice-colored interior, creating a chilling and cohesive aesthetic.

Performance-wise, the I.C.E. doesn’t disappoint. Equipped with an upgraded 3.0-liter twin-turbo Nettuno V6 engine, it produces 542 horsepower (550 PS) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. This allows the I.C.E. to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 196 mph.

Entry-Level GranCabrio: Accessible Performance

The newly unveiled entry-level GranCabrio shares the same Nettuno V6 engine but with a slightly detuned output of 483 horsepower (490 PS) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) torque.

Equipped with all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission, this model can accelerate from a standstill to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and achieve a top speed of 188 mph.

The entry-level GranCabrio is well-appointed, with LED headlights, air suspension, and 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels. Inside, drivers will find four-seat leather upholstery, a 12.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, and an 8.8-inch comfort display.

Pricing for the entry-level GranCabrio starts at 169,600 euros ($175,550). An optional Comfort Pack adds Sonus Faber premium audio, a head-up display, and ventilated seats.

Maserati’s Future Evolution

Maserati plans to expand the GranCabrio’s color palette and, starting in March, offer a new sports exhaust system for Trofeo coupe and convertible models.

The automaker promises this new exhaust system will deliver “a purer and more exhilarating sound.”

With these introductions, Maserati reaffirms its commitment to blending exquisite design with high performance. The I.C.E. and the new entry-level GranCabrio are exciting previews of Maserati’s future direction in the luxury sports car segment.
