Electric motorcycle startup Verge has pushed the boundaries of e-bike technology. Their flagship model, the TS Pro, has set a new world record by covering an impressive 192 miles (309 km) on a single charge.

Lauri Laukkanen, Verge’s Chief Marketing Officer, revealed this milestone in a recent interview with CleanTechnica. He emphasized that the record-setting ride was completed using a stock Verge TS Pro without any modifications. The motorcycle boasts impressive specs, including a 20.2 kWh lithium-ion battery, a top speed of 124 mph (200 km/h), and a weight of 540 lbs (245 kg).

The record attempt took place on London’s M25 orbital road, incorporating a mix of suburban and urban routes. The ride simulated real-world conditions, including traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, and congestion. The TS Pro significantly outperformed the previous record of 180 miles (290 km). Verge is committed to further technological advancements to set even more impressive benchmarks in the future.

This achievement by the Verge TS Pro represents a significant milestone in sustainable mobility. It demonstrates electric motorcycles’ potential and ability to deliver consistent performance in challenging urban environments. Industry experts believe this breakthrough could accelerate the adoption of electric two-wheelers and reshape the market landscape.
