Audi has revealed the new A6 e-Hybrid, the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) version of its 9th generation A6. This model is built on Audi’s latest platform optimized for hybrid powertrains, boasting significantly improved battery capacity and electric range compared to its predecessor.
A standout feature is its ability to travel up to 111 km in pure electric mode, making it ideal for daily commutes and city driving, much like a fully electric vehicle.
45% Larger Battery Capacity, 111 km of All-electric Range

The new A6 e-Hybrid, the PHEV variant of the 9th generation A6, combines a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gas engine (252 hp) with an electric motor (up to 105 kW). The most notable improvement is the 45% increase in battery capacity to 25.9 kWh (20.7 kWh usable). This allows the sedan to travel 111 km and the Avant (wagon) 106 km on a full charge in EV mode.
The EV mode top speed of 140 km/h is sufficient for highway driving, and the charging speed has improved from 7.4 kW to 11 kW, enabling a full charge in about 2.5 hours.
Two Power Options and a Standard All-wheel Drive System

The new A6 e-Hybrid comes in two power variants. The base model produces 220 kW (about 299 hp) and 450 Nm of torque, sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds. The high-output version delivers 270 kW (about 367 hp) and 500 Nm of torque, cutting the 0-100 km/h time to 5.3 seconds. Both models have a top speed of 250 km/h.
Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system comes standard, enhancing driving stability. The model features an electric dual-clutch transmission (DCT) and steering wheel paddle shifters for adjusting regenerative braking across three levels.

The A6 e-Hybrid includes a standard rear-wheel steering system, improving low-speed maneuverability and high-speed stability.
Depending on the trim, sport suspension and air suspension are available. The high-output model comes standard with the S line package and 19-inch wheels.

An upgraded sound insulation system significantly improves cabin quietness. Driving modes include EV for pure electric driving and Hybrid for optimal engine and electric motor combination.
