Lamborghini introduced a new model that embraces elegance without compromising its performance. The exterior is smoother and more refined, yet it continues to deliver the brand’s signature power and intensity.

On March 6, Automobili Lamborghini introduced the Temerario, the successor to the Huracán and the company’s second plug-in hybrid supercar, for the first time in South Korea.

Lamborghini Chairman Stephan Winkelmann attended the launch event and highlighted the new model’s direction and vision. He stated that the Temerario represents innovation in both technology and design and emphasized that Lamborghini is the first luxury brand to offer a fully hybrid lineup.

The Temerario features a more elegant and sophisticated design than previous models. Its aerodynamic exterior highlights the futuristic image of a high-performance electrified vehicle (HPEV) super sports car, blending hexagonal daytime running lights, a shark-nose front, and smooth, flowing lines. Some enthusiasts have noticed similarities between the Gallardo and Ferrari, pointing to Lamborghini’s shift toward refinement.

The interior of the Temerario combines luxury with advanced technology. Carbon fiber details and a racing-inspired steering wheel maintain a sporty feel. The vehicle includes a 12.3-inch digital cluster, an 8.4-inch central display, and a 9.1-inch passenger-side display, ensuring visibility and ease of use. The driver-focused design enhances comfort and usability.

Powerhouse Performance Meets Advanced Technology

Despite its refined appearance, the Temerario’s performance remains breathtaking. Its powertrain combines a 4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with three electric motors, producing a total of 920 horsepower and 74.4 kg·m (538 lb-ft) of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 343 km/h (213 mph).

The Temerario features Lamborghini’s Vision Unit (LAVU) system, which uses multiple cameras and control units to analyze driving data. This technology helps drivers improve their driving habits and enhances the multimedia experience and driver-assistance features. It also offers 13 distinct driving modes, allowing drivers to fine-tune the interaction between the electric motors and internal combustion engine, significantly enhancing the driving experience.

The optional Alleggerita package reduces the vehicle’s weight by over 25 kg (55 lbs), improving downforce and efficiency. Through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam customization program, customers can select from over 400 exterior colors and numerous interior options.

The Temerario is expected to cost approximately USD 52,500 more than the Ferrari 296 GTB. Equipped with high-output batteries from LG Energy Solution, it represents a significant milestone in Lamborghini’s journey toward electrification.
