New Audi Q6 e-tron: $57K EV with High-Speed Charging and 291-Mile Range

Audi officially launched its premium electric vehicle (EV), the New Audi Q6 e-Tron, in the domestic market. It features its advanced PPE platform.

The Q6 e-tron lineup includes four trims: the Performance, Performance Premium, Quattro Premium, and SQ6 e-tron.

The Q6 e-tron has the latest 100 kWh high-voltage lithium-ion battery, assembled at Audi’s Ingolstadt plant in Germany. This battery significantly enhances the range and charging performance.

Domestic sales will start on Friday, with prices beginning at 82.9 million KRW (approximately $57,000).

The Q6 e-tron is built on the latest PPE platform and 800V architecture and delivers excellent energy efficiency and charging performance.

Range varies by trim: the Q6 e-tron Performance and Performance Premium models achieve 468 km (291 miles), the Quattro Premium reaches 400 km (248 miles), and the SQ6 e-tron covers 412 km (256 miles) per charge.

The Q6 e-tron Quattro Premium supports up to 270 kW DC fast charging (WLTP), adding approximately 255 km (158 miles) of range in just 10 minutes. Charging from 10% to 80% takes approximately 21 minutes.

Each trim offers unique performance characteristics. The Q6 e-tron Performance and Performance Premium produces 225 kW and 49.46 kg·m (358 lb-ft) of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.7 seconds.

The Q6 e-tron Quattro Premium generates a combined 285 kW, with 28.04 kg·m (203 lb-ft) of torque at the front and 59.14 kg·m (428 lb-ft) at the rear, reaching 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.9 seconds.

The top model, the SQ6 e-tron, delivers the highest performance. It generates a combined output of 360 kW and 87.18 kg·m (630 lb-ft) of torque and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.4 seconds. All models have an electronically limited top speed of 210 km/h (130 mph).

The New Audi Q6 e-tron includes extensive standard features from the base trim.

Each model includes specialized suspension systems, such as sports suspension, adaptive air suspension, or adaptive S air suspension, which provide optimal comfort for various road conditions.

The Q6 e-tron also features Audi’s latest technologies, including a 14.5-inch MMI touchscreen with AI-powered voice recognition and an 11.9-inch Virtual Cockpit Plus digital cluster.

An Audi spokesperson stated that the Q6 e-tron represents the peak of EV technology and premium craftsmanship.
