Honda’s N-Box, widely regarded as one of the most stylish small minivans on the market, is getting a significant upgrade with two new custom kits by Japanese tuner Damd. These kits, named Angie and Rodney, offer distinctive personalization options that give the compact vehicle a fresh look while allowing owners to customize their N-Box to match their individual style.

N-Box Angie Kit: An Off-Road Crossover Inspired Design

The Angie kit transforms the N-Box into a rugged, off-road-inspired vehicle. It is designed to fit the regular N-Box and N-Box Joy models and brings a crossover flair with several key changes. The most notable modification is the front design, which draws inspiration from the Range Rover. A larger grille, four-position lights, a new bumper intake design, and a skid plate add to the tougher, more adventurous look.

Additional options, such as 15-inch Nitro Power M6 Carbine alloy wheels, a Tanabe suspension lift kit, and a roof rack, are available for those seeking a complete off-road transformation. The Angie kit also offers side checkered decals, adding further personality and emphasizing the off-road aesthetic.

N-Box Rodney Kit: Premium Urban Styling

In contrast, the Rodney kit offers a more urban, premium design. Exclusively available for the N-Box Custom, it features LED headlight graphics, full-wide LED bars, and black alloy wheels. These updates give the standard N-Box a more luxurious and sophisticated appearance.

The front bumper of the Rodney kit is similar to that of the Angie kit but more suited to on-road driving. The added parts are made of ABS plastic and can be finished in a color of the owner’s choice. Additional sleek features like side garnishes and side skirts complement the sporty, refined design of the N-Box Custom. Copper accents enhance the overall luxury feel, and the design evokes the boxy style of the Range Rover Evoque.

No Performance Upgrades: Pricing and Availability

While these custom kits do not offer performance upgrades—they leave the N-Box’s 658cc 3-cylinder engine unchanged, producing either 58 or 63 horsepower, depending on the trim—they provide substantial visual upgrades for the vehicle. A CVT transmission powers the N-Box and is available in front-wheel and all-wheel drive.

The N-Box Angie and Rodney kits, first showcased at the 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon, are now available for order in Japan. The Angie kit costs 258,500 yen (approximately $1,751), while the Rodney kit costs 215,600 yen (approximately $1,461). Additional options like wheels, suspension, and roof racks for the Angie model must be purchased separately. Customers can buy the kits individually or opt for a complete vehicle equipped with these upgrades.
