At the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show, held at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, Hyundai Motor Company unveiled its all-new hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, the All-New Nexo, and the redesigned electric vehicle, the New Ioniq 6, for the first time globally. The company also introduced the EV concept car Insteroid, presenting a full lineup of eco-friendly vehicles.

Hyundai created a 2,600-square-meter exhibition space filled with interactive content centered around hydrogen and electrification. The company explained that the hydrogen vehicles were designed to be approachable, while the electric cars were made to be fun.
The All-New Nexo, revealed for the first time, is a full model change seven years after the original Nexo launched in 2018. It features Hyundai’s new Art of Steel design language, emphasizing the texture of metal materials. The exterior maintains the strong image of an SUV while reflecting the characteristics of a hydrogen vehicle.

The daytime running lights (DRLs) and rear lamps, dubbed HTWO lamps, are designed in the shape of the H2 hydrogen molecule. The interior includes a panoramic curved display, integrated digital side mirrors, and a Bang & Olufsen audio system. It also supports indoor and outdoor V2L (vehicle-to-load) capability and a USB-C fast-charging port.
Hyundai stated that the model incorporates various sustainable materials, including recycled plastics, bio-leather, and regenerated fabrics. A modular platform design has increased cargo space and enhanced functionality.

Performance has also been upgraded. The All-New Nexo features a dual inverter and two-stage motor system, achieving 90 percent efficiency and 150 kW output. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 7.8 seconds, and its estimated driving range exceeds 700 kilometers per charge (as measured by Hyundai’s in-house testing).
Safety and driver assistance features have been significantly enhanced. A newly added Route Planner offers real-time hydrogen refueling station information, customized driving range, and hydrogen energy flow data. The model also supports over-the-air (OTA) updates, Digital Key 2, and Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 (RSPA 2).
More ultra-high-strength steel has been used to improve crash safety, and the vehicle is equipped with nine airbags and a wide array of advanced driver assistance systems. A new driver monitoring function has also been added.

On the same day, Hyundai also unveiled the exterior design of the New Ioniq 6 and Ioniq 6 N Line for the first time in the world. This facelifted model of the Ioniq 6, first released in 2022, now features a more refined design with a reshaped front end, reworked hood lines, and an extended ducktail spoiler.
The lamp design has been updated, with the DRLs and main headlamps separated. The lower door’s black garnish creates a sleeker side profile. The N Line model adds sporty bumper and side sill elements inspired by the RN22e rolling lab.

Inside, the vehicle retains the “Mindful Cocoon” concept while improving control layouts for a more user-centered design. The door trim also features IMG (Insert Molding Graining) technology.
Hyundai also revealed the Insteroid concept car in person. Based on the compact electric SUV Inster, the Insteroid incorporates design elements inspired by gaming.
Hyundai also operated several exhibition zones, including the H2 Zone, which introduced its hydrogen ecosystem, the EV Zone, and the Hyundai Store, which showcased various vehicles and branded merchandise. In the H2 Zone, Hyundai presented its Waste-to-Hydrogen (W2H) technology through storytelling content. The EV Zone allowed visitors to interact with EV charging and gaming experiences.
Jung Yoo Seok, Executive Vice President of Hyundai’s Korea Business Division, stated, “We aim to build a sustainable future together with our customers.”
