Kia has unveiled a new customer experience center at its Gwangmyeong EVO Plant, the Hyundai Motor Group’s first dedicated electric vehicle (EV) factory. The company announced this on Tuesday, highlighting the space as a showcase for Kia’s future vision.
The Gwangmyeong EVO Plant began operations last September to spearhead Kia’s EV push and is currently producing models such as the EV3 and EV4. Designed around the concept of “Where Technology Meets Life,” the experience center offers visitors a glimpse into Kia’s future and demonstrates how cutting-edge technology shapes our daily lives.
This facility is the only customer experience center in South Korea that allows direct tours of EV production lines. Visitors can witness the entire manufacturing process of the EV3, a cornerstone of Kia’s electrification strategy, and the recently launched EV4.

The experience center will host two daily tours on weekdays, at 9 AM and 1 PM, catering to groups of 15 to 30 people aged 10 and above. Each tour lasts approximately 60 minutes. Reservations are now open and can be made through Kia’s official website.
Ryu Chang Seung, Executive Director of Kia’s Customer Experience Division, stated that this unique experience at the Gwangmyeong EVO Plant will allow visitors to gain insight into Kia’s EV production process and witness Kia’s bold steps toward a sustainable future. “As we accelerate our electrification efforts, we plan to continue expanding these immersive brand experiences within our production facilities,” he added.
