Cadillac is gearing up to introduce its flagship SUV, the newly refreshed Escalade, to the South Korean market. According to the Ministry of Environment, Cadillac Korea has completed emissions and noise certification for the updated model, signaling that local launch preparations are now in full swing.

As a mid-cycle refresh, the new Escalade features updated exterior styling in line with Cadillac’s current design direction. Up front, the SUV gains sleek, horizontally oriented daytime running lights, which also serve as turn indicators. Beneath them, the brand’s signature vertical headlamps and light accents remain, preserving the Escalade’s distinctive presence.

The grille has been slightly reduced in size, while the Cadillac emblem at its center now features an illuminated outline. The front bumper design has also been revised to create a sportier impression. Though the side and rear profile changes are minimal, the taillight graphics have been updated for a more modern look.

Inside, the Escalade takes a major step forward in digital technology. A 35-inch wide panel, stretching across the dash, integrates the digital instrument cluster and center display. Combined with an additional display for the front passenger, the total screen real estate reaches an impressive 55 inches.

A supplementary touchscreen on the lower center console, which controls climate and other key functions, further enhances the futuristic feel. The updated interior includes a redesigned steering wheel, a column-mounted gear selector, and AKG’s premium Studio Reference sound system with 40 speakers. Power-operated doors are also newly available.

V8 Power, Super Cruise, and ESV Option

The Korean-market Escalade will be available in both standard and extended-wheelbase (ESV) variants. Both models are powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine delivering 426 horsepower.

On the tech and safety front, Cadillac will offer Super Cruise, its hands-free driving system, and a 360-degree surround-view camera system to support driver awareness and convenience.

While Cadillac has yet to confirm pricing or the official launch timeline, the Escalade remains a critical model for the brand’s presence in South Korea, particularly as demand for large luxury SUVs grows.
