Volvo is launching a new electric SUV in Korea: the EX30 Moss Yellow Edition. Only 30 units will be available, and the design is inspired by Arctic moss from northern Sweden.
Volvo Cars Korea announced that it will offer this special edition EX30 model on a first-come, first-served basis through its digital shop starting at 10 AM on April 17. As the brand’s first limited edition release of the year, only 30 units will be available in Korea.
The EX30, Volvo’s first compact all-electric SUV, has become a top seller in the European premium EV market in 2024.
Moss-Colored SUV Inspired by Nordic Nature

The Moss Yellow Edition captures the essence of Scandinavian nature, integrating natural colors and textures into the SUV’s design.
The exterior finish, Moss Yellow, is inspired by Arctic moss, which grows between Swedish rocks and gives the EX30 its distinctive color.
Pine forests inspire the interior and feature natural flax fiber accents, a blend of recycled wool and polyester fabrics, and a pine oil-based biomaterial called Nordico, creating a unique and eco-conscious atmosphere.
Premium ‘Ultra’ Trim with No Price Increase

This edition is based on the EX30’s top-tier Ultra trim level. It includes premium features such as a fixed panoramic sunroof, power-adjustable front seats with driver memory, a 360-degree camera, and an advanced parking assist system.
It also boasts Harman Kardon premium audio and high-performance air purification systems. Pricing remains unchanged from the standard EX30 at 51.83 million KRW (approximately $39,000, after eco-friendly tax incentives and before additional subsidies).
Buyers will receive an exclusive welcome package. Warranty coverage includes 5 years or 100,000 km for standard parts and 8 years or 160,000 km for high-voltage batteries.
In addition, buyers will receive 15 years of complimentary over-the-air (OTA) software updates and a 5-year free 5G digital service package.
Public debut set for ‘Volvo Ladies Salon’

The EX30 Moss Yellow Edition will debut on April 15 at the Volvo Ladies Salon at the FEZH cultural complex in Seoul’s Hannam-dong district.
Lee Yun Mo, CEO of Volvo Cars Korea, said that this inaugural edition caters to the tastes of discerning consumers. We hope they will experience the true essence of Scandinavian design through this exceptional SUV.
