The 2024 Traverse’s base LS trim starts at $42,095, including destination charges. The range-topping High Country model commands $57,195. This pricing structure positions the Traverse competitively within the midsize three-row SUV segment.

Enhanced Performance and Features

The 2024 Traverse rides on an updated version of GM’s C1 platform and adopts Chevrolet’s latest design language. Notable exterior features include sleek LED daytime running lights, split headlamps, and a bold dual-port grille.

The Traverse is 5,194 mm (204.5 in) long, 2,232 mm (87.9 in) wide, and 1,776 mm (69.9 in) high, with a wheelbase of 3,072 mm (121 in). It maintains its place in the large SUV segment and offers a towing capacity of 2,268 kg (5,000 lbs).

The most significant mechanical change is the switch from the previous 3.6-liter V6 to a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is available as an option. The new engine pairs with GM’s 8-speed automatic transmission and delivers 328 horsepower and 45.1 kg·m (326 lb-ft) of torque.

The Traverse includes an 11-inch digital instrument cluster and a 17.7-inch central touchscreen. The column-mounted shifter increases available console space. Passenger space remains ample, with 1,125 mm (44.3 in) of legroom in the front, 1,053 mm (41.5 in) in the second row, and 816 mm (32.1 in) in the third row.

Optional features include second-row ventilated seats and a panoramic sunroof. With the rear seats folded, cargo capacity can reach up to 2,764 liters (97.6 cu ft).

Standard safety and driver assistance technologies include adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and automatic high beams. Additional features, such as Chevy Safety Assist, a surround-view camera, rear park assist, and wireless device charging, are also available.
