Toyota’s popular RAV4, a cornerstone of the compact SUV segment since its debut in 1994, is set to be redesigned. After five generations and a facelift for the current fifth-generation model, the all-new RAV4 will be revealed in 2025. Recently, spy shots of the redesigned RAV4 have surfaced, both in Japan and the U.S., generating a lot of excitement. Plastic cladding under the bumper and a three-part air intake will provide a tough, off-road-ready appearance, while the bonnet will have a higher, more straightforward parting line, adding to the vehicle’s bold stance. The overall side design remains largely consistent with the leaked images, though the roof line has been thickened, the window belt line adopts a step-shape for added visual interest.
Rear Design: Aggressive and Angular
The rear of the redesigned RAV4 is expected to follow the same hammerhead style introduced at the front. The angled and retracted tail lamps will have sharper edges for a more aggressive look.
