Mini Porsche? Copersche 811 GT-K Stuns with 911-Inspired Design at Tokyo Auto Salon

The Copersche 811 GT-K, unveiled at the 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon (TAS), is storming the automotive world. A special edition created by StanceMagic, this model is a modified Daihatsu Copen featuring a fiberglass body kit inspired by the Porsche 911. As the name suggests, “Copersche” combines the elements of the Copen and Porsche, creating a truly unique vehicle that blends the compact dimensions of a mini car with the aggressive styling of a high-performance sports car.

StanceMagic, renowned for its expertise in alloy wheels, is now recognized for pushing automobile customization’s boundaries. The Copersche 811 GT-K exemplifies the brand’s ability to innovate and transform a mini car into a striking vehicle with an unmistakable Porsche-inspired design.

Exterior: Porsche-Inspired Design with Precision Craftsmanship

The exterior design of the Copersche 811 GT-K is dominated by Porsche-inspired features, particularly from the 997 and 996 generations. The vehicle boasts 997-style headlights and turn signals alongside GT3-style bumper intakes, all contributing to its high-end sports car aesthetic. Notably, the design is so extensive that, aside from the front glass, doors, and A-pillar, virtually every part of the vehicle has been reworked, erasing most traces of the original Copen.

The rear of the car features Porsche 996-style taillights, a large rear wing for increased downforce, dual mufflers, and a sizeable diffuser. Additionally, decorative ventilation holes enhance the vehicle’s sporty appeal. Despite the vehicle’s compact size, these design elements effectively convey the feeling of a high-performance machine, closely resembling the appearance of larger, more expensive sports cars.

Interior: Racing-Inspired Upgrades for Enhanced Driver Experience

For the interior of the Copersche 811 GT-K, the dashboard, bucket seats, and roll cage stand out with red points and suede finishes. These changes add to the racing car feel, which is expected to increase driver immersion.

The lower part of the vehicle has also been remodeled. The chassis has been lowered compared to the previous model, and the brake parts have been replaced with new discs and calipers. This has further enhanced the vehicle’s stability and braking performance compared to the previous Copen.

Performance: A Step Up, but Still Far from Porsche Power

Under the hood, the Copersche 811 GT-K has a 1.3L 4-cylinder engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. This setup significantly improves the vehicle’s performance compared to the standard Copen, powered by a 660cc engine. While the performance falls short of a true Porsche, the unique design and the enhanced engine make the Copersche an enticing vehicle for enthusiasts.

It’s important to note that this model is a one-off creation and will not be available for purchase. However, those inspired by the Porsche-style transformation of the Daihatsu Copen will find that the community shares a similar body kit. Copen owners looking to personalize their vehicles can use this kit to create their own unique version of the Copersche 811 GT-K.
