Audi’s Q6 e-tron Charges Fast and Hits 0-60 in 4.4 Seconds—Yes, Really

Audi Korea is set to launch its mid-size electric SUV, the Q6 e-tron, on March 21.

The Q6 e-tron is the first mass-production model to use the Volkswagen Group’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE), which is designed specifically for high-end electric vehicles.

The Q6 e-tron, manufactured at Audi’s Ingolstadt plant in Germany, has an impressive 100 kWh battery. Based on the Performance and Performance Premium trims, it has a certified range of 468 km (290 miles) on a single charge.

Leveraging the PPE platform and advanced 800V architecture, the Q6 e-tron supports ultra-fast charging up to 270 kW under European WLTP standards. The battery can charge from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes, providing approximately 255 km (158 miles) of range with 10 minutes of charging.

The Q6 e-tron Performance trim delivers 225 kW of maximum output and 494 Nm of peak torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 60 mph) in about 6.7 seconds. The high-performance SQ6 e-tron trim boasts 360 kW and achieves 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds.

Driving dynamics and ride comfort are also notable. The Performance Premium trim features a sports suspension, while the Quattro Premium has adaptive air suspension. The SQ6 e-tron is fitted with an adaptive S air suspension for enhanced handling.

The Q6 e-tron’s exterior design embodies a bold SUV style with advanced signature lighting, showcasing Audi’s unique electric vehicle aesthetic. Inside, the cabin introduces cutting-edge design and technology, including an infotainment system with a customizable digital stage.

The Q6 e-tron has also proven its safety by achieving the highest 5-star Euro NCAP safety assessment rating.
