12,000 USD Starting Price with Diesel Engine Option
The Hilux Champ offers impressive price competitiveness, starting at around 12,000 USD for the basic truck model. It is available in two body configurations: short wheelbase (4,970 mm or 195.7 inches) and long (5,300 mm or 208.7 inches), allowing various loading and modifications. This versatility caters to commercial vehicle demand and customization preferences.
The powertrain options include a 2.0L gasoline engine, a 2.7L gasoline engine, and a 2.4L turbo diesel engine. The 2.4L turbo diesel delivers 147 horsepower and high torque. The standard transmission is a 5-speed manual, with a 6-speed automatic transmission available on the higher-end diesel models.
In addition to the basic truck, a camper version is also available. This model features an interior with a 32-inch TV and a bathroom, offering accommodation for up to six people. Priced at around 50,000 USD, it is considered reasonably priced compared to the camper market, attracting significant consumer interest.
