Xpeng displayed its electric vehicle, the G6, at Auto Shanghai 2025. Backed by Alibaba, Xpeng is also known as Alibaba’s car. The company plans to establish a Korean branch and introduce complete electric vehicles later this year.

The Xpeng G6 is the most likely electric vehicle for international release. It measures 4,750 x 1,920 x 1,680mm (187 x 75.6 x 66.2 inches), similar in size and concept to the Tesla Model Y. Its design resembles the previously released P9 and G9 models.

The design features a rounded, voluminous body with widespread headlights and rear lamps, creating a futuristic atmosphere. Cameras for autonomous driving are visible throughout the body. The Xpilot system highlights the brand’s direction, offering advanced driver-assist features.

The interior minimizes physical buttons, using a large display for both the instrument cluster and infotainment system. The display covers vehicle status, driving functions, and climate controls, with a focus on UI design. However, the menu layout and graphics resemble Tesla’s system, which may be a downside.

The G6’s spacious interior stands out. The center console, positioned at knee height, includes wireless charging for two smartphones and a deep storage compartment underneath. The second row offers generous knee and headroom, even for taller passengers. Premium materials and wide, comfortably reclining seats enhance the vehicle’s appeal.

The powertrain offers three configurations: RWD Standard with 258 horsepower, 0-100 km/h (60mph) in 6.6 seconds; RWD Long Range with 286 horsepower, 0-100 km/h (60mph) in 6.2 seconds; and AWD Performance with 476 horsepower, 0-100 km/h (60mph) in 3.8 seconds. Prices are 199,900 CNY (approximately 27,600 USD), 229,900 CNY (approximately 31,760 USD), and 276,900 CNY (approximately 38,260 USD).
