Audi has officially unveiled the new A6 sedan for the European market, following the earlier debut of the A6 Avant. This marks the second model in Audi’s next-generation A6 lineup. The new sedan has been well-received for its sleek and futuristic design.
The redesigned A6 sedan features not only an innovative exterior but also outstanding aerodynamic performance. With a drag coefficient (Cd) of 0.23—one of the best in its class—it is expected to significantly improve fuel efficiency. This figure also represents the most aerodynamic internal combustion production vehicle ever released by Audi.

The powertrain lineup includes both gasoline and diesel options, with all models equipped with standard mild hybrid technology. Specifically, the lineup consists of a 2.0-liter TDI four-cylinder diesel engine producing 150 kW (204 hp) and a 3.0-liter TFSI V6 gasoline engine producing 270 kW (367 hp). Audi stated that its MHEV Plus technology delivers up to an additional 230 Nm of torque and 18 kW (24 hp) of power, enhancing acceleration from a standstill and overtaking performance.
Driving dynamics have also seen significant improvements. The new A6 sedan features adaptive air suspension and a four-wheel steering system, delivering both agility and comfort in daily driving as well as long-distance travel. Audi emphasized that the model offers optimal performance across a wide range of driving conditions.
As Audi’s premium flagship sedan, the new A6 is set to launch in full-scale sales starting in Europe, combining technological innovation with luxurious comfort to strengthen its presence in the executive sedan market.
