Lamborghini Unveils Temeraio: A 920-Horsepower Hybrid Supercar

Lamborghini introduced its latest plug-in hybrid supercar, the Temeraio, at an exclusive launch event in Seoul. Stephan Winkelmann, the company’s Chairman and CEO, personally attended the event to present the new model. South Korea, ranked Lamborghini’s seventh-largest global market, remains a crucial region for the brand.

On Thursday, Lamborghini held a launch event at the Pie Factory Studio in Gwangjin District, Seoul, where it unveiled the Temeraio for the first time in the country. The Temeraio is Lamborghini’s second plug-in hybrid (PHEV) super sports car, following the flagship Revuelto. With the addition of the Revuelto, Urus SE, and Temeraio, Lamborghini has now fully electrified its lineup.

Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Lamborghini, emphasized the significance of this release, stating that South Korea is one of the company’s most important markets in the Asia-Pacific region. He expressed enthusiasm about introducing the high-performance plug-in hybrid Temeraio to Korean customers. He highlighted that Lamborghini has become the first luxury automaker to offer a fully hybrid lineup.

The Temeraio delivers remarkable performance. It integrates a 4.0L (244 cu in) V8 twin-turbo engine with three electric motors to achieve a combined output of 920 horsepower (676 kW) and 538 lb-ft (730 Nm) of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 2.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph).

Lamborghini developed an entirely new 4.0L V8 twin-turbo engine for the Temeraio, capable of reaching 10,000 rpm. The three electric motors, working seamlessly with the engine, enhance performance and efficiency. One motor is positioned between the V8 engine and transmission, while the other two power the front wheels, enabling an adaptive all-wheel-drive system.

The Temeraio’s exterior maintains Lamborghini’s signature sporty and muscular aesthetic, incorporating hexagonal daytime running lights and a distinctive shark-nose design—the interior features premium materials such as carbon fiber, balancing luxury and functionality. The racing-inspired steering wheel and advanced digital interface ensure an immersive driving experience.

Lamborghini offers extensive personalization through its Ad Personam program, allowing customers to customize the Temeraio according to their preferences. The Alleggerita lightweight package reduces the vehicle’s weight by over 25 kg (55 lbs), enhancing downforce and efficiency.

The Temeraio comes equipped with Lamborghini’s most advanced infotainment system, featuring a 12.3-inch digital cluster, an 8.4-inch central display, and a 9.1-inch passenger display. The system includes smartphone connectivity and navigation. Additionally, the Lamborghini Vision Unit system integrates three cameras and a dedicated control unit to record and analyze driving data, enabling drivers to refine their skills for both daily driving and track performance.
