Bentley introduced its 2025 plug-in hybrid lineup, combining premium craftsmanship with powerful hybrid performance.
The new Azure trim level, now available with a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain, is positioned as one of the most well-rounded offerings in Bentley’s recent history.
Luxury and Power: 671 Horsepower from Hybrid Technology

The updated lineup includes the Continental GT, GTC (Convertible), and Flying Spur.
All three models feature a powertrain that pairs a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with an electric motor, supported by a 25.9 kWh battery. This system produces 671 horsepower and 94.8 kg·m (699 lb-ft) of torque.
While its output is slightly below that of the current top-tier Speed models, it surpasses the performance of the older W12-powered variants.
The Continental GT accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 3.7 seconds, with the GTC and Flying Spur following at 3.9 seconds—similar to many high-performance sports cars.
Striking a Balance Between Practicality and Design

Bentley also emphasizes improved practicality. The Continental GT offers up to 85 km (53 miles) of electric-only range, while the GTC achieves 82 km (51 miles), enough for typical daily commutes without relying on the gasoline engine.
These models combine Bentley’s traditional refined driving feel with the smoothness of electric power, offering a driving experience that blends environmental awareness with upscale comfort.
The exterior maintains Bentley’s luxurious appeal, featuring a glossy black matrix grille with 11 vertical slats, a black splitter, and exclusive 22-inch wheels. The overall effect highlights Bentley’s attention to detail, making it feel more like a finely finished design object than a typical luxury car.

The interior features Bentley’s wellness seating as standard, with massage, heating, and ventilation included. Premium wood finishes and ambient lighting help minimize fatigue during longer drives.
The GTC comes standard with a neck warmer, allowing drivers to enjoy open-top driving comfortably in any season.
Lower Prices, Broader Appeal

Pricing is also more competitive. Starting around 280,000 USD, they are about 30,000 USD less expensive than Bentley’s highest-tier versions, potentially lowering the entry barrier to the ultra-luxury market.
With this strategy, Bentley aims to reach a wider audience, including younger customers who appreciate style and practicality.
The Azure trim includes added details, including unique embroidery, special badging, and exclusive interior touches normally reserved for Bentley’s most premium models.

A Bentley spokesperson stated it’s time to move past the idea that hybrids can’t deliver performance. Even as we move toward electrification, Bentley remains focused on providing a rewarding driving experience.
