The Seoul Mobility Show Organizing Committee has announced that the Seoul Mobility Show 2025 will take place at KINTEX in Ilsan from April 3 to 13. To celebrate its 30th anniversary, the event will feature a special exhibition space highlighting the history of automobiles, mobility, and various interactive activities.

The organizing committee, comprising the Korea Automobile Mobility Industry Association and the Korea Automobile Cooperative, stated on Thursday that this year’s exhibition will be held under the theme “Mobility, Everywhere,” showcasing innovations that integrate mobility into everyday life.

The event will feature advancements in automobiles and maritime mobility, including eco-friendly vessels and aviation, particularly Urban Air Mobility (UAM). It will highlight public transportation services for universal accessibility, purpose-built vehicles (PBVs), and construction machinery mobility. Additionally, the exhibition will present various emerging technologies, such as autonomous driving, artificial intelligence (AI), and robotics, that are set to transform everyday life in the near future.

For the first time, HD Hyundai affiliates, representing South Korea’s construction machinery sector, will participate as headline partners at the Seoul Mobility Show. This marks the debut of construction machinery companies at the event. The event will also include the Seoul Mobility Forum, which merges the Asia Mobility Forum, which examines mobility trends across key Asian markets, with the Automobile Mobility Industry Development Forum, which focuses on domestic policy discussions.

From April 3 to 6, the show will host the Phase 1 Results Sharing Meeting for the Autonomous Driving Technology Development Innovation Project. More than 200 companies and institutions will participate, showcasing R&D achievements in Level 4+ autonomous driving platforms, core electronic components, AI, data infrastructure, and operational management technologies. The event will also feature the presentation of over 60 research papers published in leading global scientific journals and an international forum discussing the future of mobility.

Organizing Committee Chairman Kang Nam Hoon said that while traditional auto shows primarily focused on unveiling new vehicles and offering B2C experiences, future mobility shows will evolve into platforms where consumers can experience cutting-edge mobility technologies firsthand. He added that these events will also serve as industrial and technological convergence hubs, fostering active B2B interactions.
