The Lexus IS F is the brand’s representative high-performance model. It is equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 naturally aspirated engine that produces 416 horsepower. The vehicle’s top speed is 170 mph (273 km/h). Its sporty driving experience is provided by rear-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission. California Cracks Down on Speeding: New Laws in 2025

California is stepping up its speed enforcement with new traffic laws that take effect starting this year. One of them is the installation of five new speed cameras along the Pacific Coast Highway. The cameras will catch drivers going over 100 mph (161km/h) and will carry a $500 fine.

California’s move aims to reduce speeding accidents and ensure residents’ safety. Experts say this incident will also send a strong caution message to young drivers.

Police Warning: Slow Down in 2025

In the wake of this incident, California law enforcement has issued a clear message to all drivers: Slow down. Authorities emphasize enforcing traffic laws and cracking down on speeding, particularly among younger drivers.

While the Pacific Coast Highway is known for its scenic beauty, speeding on this iconic stretch of road can be deadly for the driver and others also for others. California police are especially concerned about the rise in speed-related incidents among younger motorists and are warning of tough consequences for those who break the law.
