Kia Refreshes Niro Hybrid and EV Models With New Features, Quiet Luxury

On May 2, Kia announced upgrades to the Niro’s overall product appeal and introduced a new trim called Best Selection. Based on the Prestige trim, the new model features enhanced design elements and a wide range of safety technologies.

The Best Selection model includes projection LED headlamps, front and rear LED turn signals, and LED reverse lights as standard. Advanced driver assistance features include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (oncoming vehicles at intersections), Smart Cruise Control, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Safe Exit Assist, and electronic child locks—all included as standard.

When equipped with a navigation package, buyers can also access Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control and Highway Driving Assist (HDA).

Other existing trims have also been upgraded for improved convenience. All Niro Hybrid trims now come with a steering wheel haptic warning system and a newly designed electronic rearview mirror. The top-tier Signature trim features double-laminated soundproof glass on the second-row windows to enhance cabin quietness.

The Comfort option adds suede headlining for a more premium feel, and if selected on the EV model, it also includes double-laminated second-row glass for added quietness.

The prices for the Niro Hybrid are approximately 20,500 USD for the Trendy trim, 22,775 USD for the Prestige, 23,575 USD for the Best Selection, and 25,725 USD for the Signature. The Niro EV is priced at approximately 35,660 USD for the Air trim and 37,650 USD for the Earth trim.
