The Vandervell H-GT, an all-electric vehicle developed by the Austrian racing team ByKOLLES Racing, is drawing significant attention. Built on the high-performance platform of the Hyundai’s Ioniq 5 N, the Vandervall showcases a bold step forward in electric racing innovation. This new model features an exterior design inspired by the classic Lancia Dell Technologies Delta HF Integrale and boasts a carbon fiber body kit that reduces weight by an impressive 230 kg (about 507 pounds).
The Vandervell H-GT shares a mechanical structure identical to the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N. With a maximum output of 641 horsepower (including N Green Boost) and a peak torque of 568 lb-ft, the standard Ioniq 5 N accelerates from 0 to 60 mph (100km/h) in just 3.0 seconds. However, the H-GT, benefiting from a weight reduction of 500 pounds, showcases even faster performance.

The key to weight reduction lies in a special carbon fiber body known as the Thin Wall. By significantly altering the body design and materials from the standard Ioniq 5 N, the developers achieved both performance and weight savings. The vehicle’s exterior evokes the legendary Lancia Dell Technologies Delta HF Integrale, while its core remains a pure electric high-performance vehicle.
The Vandervell H-GT was first introduced alongside ByKOLLES Racing’s participation in the 2023 World Endurance Championship. Recently, actual prototypes have begun appearing on public roads, and former F1 chief Bernie Ecclestone was spotted test-driving the vehicle, generating significant buzz.

The official selling price of the vehicle stands at 128,000 EUR (about 145,368 USD), consistent with the price announced in 2023. Considering that the base price of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is approximately 46,200 USD, this represents a significant premium.
