Genesis introduced the refreshed 2026 GV70 to the U.S. market. While the price slightly increased compared to the previous model, the SUV maintains its competitive edge with upgraded features and standard all-wheel drive.

The new GV70 starts at $47,985 in the U.S., reflecting a $2,250 increase from its predecessor.

Higher trims see even larger price jumps, with the top-tier 3.5 Turbo Sport Prestige model priced at $71,515.

This pricing positions the GV70 directly against the BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC, reinforcing Genesis’s presence in the luxury SUV market.

Enhanced Features Strengthen Appeal

The updated GV70 introduces several refinements over the previous model. The base trim now includes 19-inch wheels, a hands-free liftgate, a 27-inch digital cluster and navigation display, wireless smartphone integration, and a fingerprint authentication system.

The Select trim adds a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging pad, power tilt, telescoping steering wheel, and driver’s memory seat.

Higher trims have a Bang & Olufsen sound system, genuine leather upholstery, 21-inch wheels, and a sport exterior package.

The range-topping 3.5 Turbo Sport Prestige trim features Nappa leather seats, a suede headliner, a head-up display, and acoustic rear glass.

Proven Powertrains and Competitive Pricing

The GV70 retains its 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, generating 300 horsepower and 311 lb-ft (422 Nm) of torque.

An optional 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine produces 375 horsepower and 391 lb-ft (530 Nm) of torque. All-wheel drive is now standard across all trims.

For comparison, the BMW X3 xDrive30i starts at $49,950, while the Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 is priced at $49,250.

With a base price closely aligned with its competitors, Genesis aims to attract luxury SUV buyers by offering a strong combination of performance and value.
